Landlord Challenges
This brings me back to the biggest challenge landlords are running into. That challenge is how to find quality tenants. To be fair, the results are probably slightly skewed in my informal poll due to the situation with which may landlords originally found this site.
If you have just gone through the process of evicting a problem tenant, finding good tenants will definitely be higher on the priority list at this time. In my poll it came in as the problem 62.5% of us needed the most help with followed distantly by the challenge of screening tenants at 20%.
Fortunately I have been busy working in the background on some information that you may find helpful. It’s still another month or two away from being finished, but this comprehensive guide will cover everything you need to know about finding quality tenants.
Finding Quality Tenants
The three main areas I will focus on will be your property, your advertising and your screening process. The intent of the guide is to show you how to make your property appeal to the best tenants, how you can use your advertising to ensure you automatically screen out the tenants you don’t want and how you can use your screening process to weed out problems before they happen.
